11-16-19 College Basketball Games to Watch
Headliner Game
#20 Washington vs. Tennessee (-1) (Toronto, Canada; James Naismith Classic-Hall of Fame event) at 5 p.m. (ESPN+) $$
Only one game of major national relevance with college football still being played. Washington stole a big win against Baylor with a late rally. Tennessee can get into the Top 25 with a win here. This game is one of those tourney/seed resume’ builders that both teams would like to have. I am taking the Vols in what should be a close one.
Upset Watch Games
Nicholls St. at LSU (-20) at 4 p.m. (SECN+)
Vermont at St. John’s (-2 ½) (Air Force Tip-Off Campus Round Game) at 4 p.m. (FS2)
La. Tech at Creighton (-8) at 6 p.m. (FS2)
Troy at Indiana (-22) (Indiana Challenge) at 8 p.m. (BTN)
USC (-2 ½) at Nevada at 11 p.m. (CBSSN)
I mixed in some big underdogs with some slight underdogs for today. I think one of the two big underdogs provides a scare, and at least one of the slight underdogs wins. Vermont is the most obvious choice here.
