College basketball games to watch 11-10-19

Headliner Games

FSU at #6 Florida at 1 p.m. (ESPN)

Illinois at #21 Arizona at 9 p.m. (Pac-12N)

With the NFL still in high gear on Sundays, not a lot of top level games for today. But FSU-UF is a good rivalry game. Illinois at Arizona pits two teams with big expectations for improvement this year. The Illini barely survived their opener, so this is a big road test for them. I think the home teams both get tested but win.

Upset Watch Games

Wyoming at S. Carolina at noon (SECN)

Niagara at Rutgers (Garden State Hardwood Classic game) at 1 p.m. (BTN+) $$

Colgate at Clemson at 3 p.m. (ACCN Extra)

Winthrop at Fresno St. at 5 p.m. (MWN)

UC Santa Barbara at UCLA at 7 p.m. (Pac-12N)

I am again going to guess that one of these road dogs gets the job done. Colgate is the most obvious one here with Clemson struggling in their opener against Va. Tech.

Mid-Major Games to Watch

Oakland vs. S. Illinois (Sunshine Slam Tournament; Kissimmee, FL) at 1 p.m. (FloHoops) $$

Vermont at Bucknell at 2 p.m. (PLN)

Abilene Christian at Drexel at 2 p.m. (FloHoops) $$

Toledo at Marshall (Men Against Breast Cancer Invitational) at 2 p.m. (ESPN3)

Delaware vs. UTSA (Sunshine Slam Tournament; Kissimmee, FL) at 3:30 p.m. (FloHoops) $$

UALR at Illinois St. at 4 p.m. (ESPN3)

While not as good as Saturday’s lineup of these type games, it’s pretty good for a Sunday.

St. Joseph’s at Old Dominion at 2 p.m. (CUSA.tv)

Detroit Mercy at N.C. State at 4 p.m. (FSN/ACCN Extra)

James Madison at #11 Virginia at 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

Can USF beat an ACC team? Will the coach’s son score 40 against the Pack and still lose? Can James Madison score 40 against UVa. Tune into these games and find out. (Yeah, I couldn’t think of anything fun to say about ODU-St. Joe’s but it should be a competitive game) Enjoy!
