College basketball daily-Saturday 11/17/18

Not a tremendous slate still as college basketball continues to keep marquee games off the few remaining college football Saturdays so you can watch a bunch of mediocre football instead. Here are some college basketball games to watch though: (all times ET)

GAMES OF NATIONAL INTEREST:

1. Furman at Villanova (-16.5) at 5 p.m. (FS2). 4-0 Furman goes to Philly to take on Nova, who needs to put the pieces back together after Michigan delivered them a big-time beatdown. Furman has already stunned Loyola (IL) in the early season, and they look to make noise in the Southern Conference this year (the conference as a whole is off to a good start). I think the Paladins hang around for a half, but I suspect Nova is angry after that ugly loss, and I think this team is too well-coached to let one loss turn into two. I like Nova by 15 or so.

USPET WATCH:

William & Mary (+11) at Notre Dame at noon (ACC Network/Watch ESPN)

Lipscomb (+11) at SMU at 7 p.m. (ESPN3)

Yale (+5) at Memphis at 8 p.m. (ESPN3)

Other games that could/should be fun to watch:

Radford at Duquesne at noon (ESPN+)

S. Carolina vs. Providence (Uncasville, CT; Hall of Fame Tip-off) at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN3)

Boston U. at E. Michigan at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN3)

E. Tennessee St. at Winthrop at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN+)

Texas St. at Drake at 3 p.m. (ESPN3)

Albany at Canisius at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN3)

Cornell at NJIT at 4 p.m. (ESPN+)

New Mexico St. at New Mexico at 6 p.m. (Mountain West Network/AT&T SN)

Bradley at Illinois-Chicago at 8 p.m. (ESPN3)

St. Louis at Seton Hall at 8 p.m. (FS2)

Norfolk St. at Stony Brook (Uncasville, CT; Hall of Fame Tip-Off) at 8:30 p.m. (ESPN3)

Nice mid-major list of games. Enjoy!!
