College basketball daily-Thursday 11/15/18

Running behind but throwing it out here anyways. Here are some games to watch: (all times ET)

GAMES OF NATIONAL INTEREST:

1. Syracuse vs. UConn at 7 p.m. (2K Classic-MSG) (ESPN2). The old Big East rivalry renewed; Syracuse is ranked #15 and UConn is seeking respect under first-year coach Dan Hurley.

2. Oregon (-4) vs. Iowa at 9:30 p.m. approximately (2K Classic-MSG) (ESPN2). The second half of the 2K Classic should also be entertaining. Oregon sports the hyped Bol Bol (son of former NBA player Manute Bol) and some talented returnees. Iowa is really good at scoring the ball but not as much at defending. This should be a high scoring game, and I think the Ducks win going away late.

3. Texas A&M at Gonzaga (-17) at 11:30 p.m. (ESPN2). This would have been a really fun game last year; however, the Aggies lost a lot and although the Zags will still be playing without Killian Tillie, they look really good so far even without him. I think the Zags clobber the Aggies.

UPSET WATCH:

Fresno State at TCU (-10) at 9 p.m. (FSN/FS South)

Penn State (-1) at DePaul at 9 p.m. (FS1)

Other games that should/could be fun to watch:

All the other games of note are over or underway at the time of this post. Real life getting in the way of college basketball! Oh the humanity! By the way, I am 1-0 against the spread this season as Marshall covered winning by 23 last night vs. Mount St. Mary's (+21.5). You are welcome.
