College basketball daily-11/8/18
Very light night of action as most teams played the last two days. Here's a few games to watch: (all times Eastern)
GAMES OF NATIONAL INTEREST
Honestly, I got nothing here. Most everyone of importance played Tuesday and doesn't play again until tomorrow or beyond.
UPSET WATCH: (Bigger schools that could lose to mid-majors)
Morehead St. at UConn at 7 p.m. (SNY/ESPN3)
Siena at George Washington at 7 p.m. (ESPN+)
Evansville at Illinois at 8 p.m. (BTN+/FloSports)
New Orleans at Northwestern at 8 p.m. (BTN)
Other games that could/should be fun to watch:
Nicholls St. at Louisville at 7 p.m. (ACCN/WatchESPN)
So, I went 0-1 on my straight up picks last night as Ohio State won at Cincinnati. It's official, Chris Holtmann can coach! Just kidding; I think most cbb fans already knew that. It's a good night to take a breather and gear up for a good Friday night of college basketball. But if you do choose to watch some, I'd tune into see if Northwestern can recapture some magic from year before last, or to watch Dan Hurley coach his first game at UConn. Enjoy!
