Headliner Games

None. The ACC/Big Ten Challenge starts with two games tonight but neither really qualify as a headliner (albeit worth a watch; see below).

Upset Watch Games

Miami, FL at Illinois (-8) (ACC/Big Ten Challenge) at 7 p.m. (ESPN2)

S. Dakota at Washington (-13) at 10:30 p.m. (Pac-12N)

Not many games tonight so not much to choose from in this category either. Both the Illini and Hurricanes have been pretty underwhelming so far this season. Illinois should win this but they just haven’t been as good as expected so far. South Dakota has been good so far, and should give Washington a nice challenge. I think the Huskies pull away in the mid- to late-second half.

Furman (-3) at USF at 7 p.m. (ESPN3)

N. Texas at UT Arlington (-7) at 8 p.m. (ESPN+) $$

Clemson at Minnesota (-3) (ACC/Big Ten Challenge) at 9 p.m. (ESPN2)

Vegas thinks most of these games will be fairly close; so do I. This is probably the worst schedule I have seen so far this season. Still, a few decent games to take a look at. Enjoy!
