12-15-19 College Basketball Games to Watch
Headliner Game/The Undefeated Watch
*#3 Ohio State (-7) at Minnesota (Big Ten) at 6:30 p.m. (BTN)
No ranked vs. ranked games today after three yesterday, but the headliner is the only game involving an undefeated team. Ohio State has a chance to jump to #1 tomorrow if they can win at the Barn. Minnesota has been pretty disappointing so far, but a big win over the Buckeyes (who have been rolling most everyone) would be a huge feather in their cap. I think the Buckeyes win this one, but the Golden Gophers keep it a single-digit loss.
Upset Watch Games
Sacred Heart at UCF (-10) at 2 p.m. (ESPN3)
N.C. State (-2 ½) at UNC Greensboro at 3 p.m. (ESPN+) $$
*Purdue (-12 ½) at Nebraska (Big Ten) at 4 p.m. (BTN)
Wofford at #17 North Carolina (-15 ½) at 4 p.m. (ACCN)
Missouri St. at VCU (-11 ½) at 7 p.m. (ESPN+) $$
These five games could provide some upsets. UNC Greensboro is the most obvious pick here since they are a minor underdog. Missouri State would be the next most obvious pick to me.
Other Games to Watch
Gardner-Webb at Va. Tech (-14 ½) at 1:30 p.m. (ACCN Extra)
Illinois St. at N. Kentucky (-6) at 2 p.m. (ESPN+) $$
Oklahoma St. at Houston (-6 ½) at 3 p.m. (ESPN)
S. Illinois at Missouri (-14 ½) at 4 p.m. (SECN)
Ga. Southern at Bradley (-5) at 5 p.m. (ESPN3)
S. Carolina at Clemson (-5 ½) at 5 p.m. (ESPN2)
Long Beach St. at USC (-17) at 6:30 p.m. (Pac-12N)
Samford at Hawaii (-7) at 8:30 p.m. (BigWest.tv)
These eight games have the potential to be very entertaining. In fact, I would suggest Okla. St.-Houston and S. Carolina-Clemson may be the best games of the day. Enjoy!
